The site is XML
I have just finished converting my site to XML. It won't make much difference to you, the visitors (although there will be a slight lowering in bandwidth useage), but it will make it easier for me to change and adapt things.
At the moment, for compatability reasons, the site can be viewed in two different ways. One is in HTML (technically XHTML), where the address ends in .html, and the second is XML, where the address ends in .xml. Now, defaultly the site will display in HTML mode; to change this, simple change the ending of the page you're one from .html to .xml.
Click here to try the XML version.
Additionally, I have also added some alternate style sheets for both handheld and printed mediums with more on the way, and some alternative stylesheets for the browsers too.

Internet Explorer problems
As I use a *nix based machine to write the pages for this site, I haven't really had a chance to test it on IE. I've tested it on Firefox, Konqueror, Opera and even Lynx and it looks fine, but when I got round to testing it on IE I noticed a few CSS errors, which are caused by the IE rendering engine (Trident). It's nothing serious, it's more of an annoyance, so I'm going to try and find some work arounds for the problems. Until then you'll either have to use a standards compliant browser, or just put up with it. Sorry!

Persistant Login Added
After many days hard work trying to make the php sessions, for the login, persistent I've finally given up and decided to write my own system, which works perfectly, I should have done that first to be honest, but eh, you live and learn.

User Sign up added
As you can see on the left, I've written a signup/login ability to the site. A registered user will be able to interact with the site to a greater extent; exactly what that means is still unknow, as I don't know exactly what I'll be adding to the site yet, but it's there for when it's needed.
Commenting system added
As you may have noticed, I've added a nice commenting system to the blog, you'll need to signup to access it though.
